Wisteria bonsai proves big beauty comes in small packages-DDN Japan
As you probably already know, bonsai is the Japanese art of growing miniature trees or shrubs in planters. You’ve may have already seen at least some tiny potted junipers, a common species for bonsai, at some point, but actually many different species are suitable for bonsai, including some flowering trees like wisteria, or fuji in Japanese.

A girl who cannot become a princess is doomed to become a witch.
-Revolutionary Girl Utena.
Just marathoned this masterpiece; a postmodern fairy tale about altruism, femininity and breaking the cycles of abuse and learned helplessness.
Heartbreaking and empowering.

Don’t step on the octos, dear.
Wendy taking her youngest, Melusine, for an underwater stroll. They met a whole lot of curious residents pretty soon (it’s always crowded down there). °_°
Painted with fine watercolors and gouache on Daler Rowney paper.
Prints in my shop. Thank you for stopping by! ♥

Leaf bug (Phyllium giganteum)

The constant wobbling as they move is a part of their disguise, making it seem as though the “leaf” is only moving because of a light breeze.
If you blow on one it will also shake around in the hopes of matching any actual surrounding leaves
